Artist Bio: Ron Webber

Ron Webber is an established artist and photographer based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Webber studied fine art at NSCAD, and Sir George Williams University in Montreal. He has had numerous solo exhibitions across Canada and is represented by The Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography.

Ron is the recipient of numerous grants and awards, including the Canada Council Project Grant, as well as the Canada Council Arts Award in Photography.

Webber’s portraits of the Canadian landscape are the product of over forty years of development. Ron’s career has included working for the National Film Board, and examples of his work are in the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography, formerly known as the National Film Boards’ distinguished Still Photograph Division.
