Anna Syperek

Artist Bio: Anna Syperek

Anna Syperek was born in Leicester in England. She emigrated to Canada with her family while she was still a child. Anna always had an interest in, and an aptitude for drawing and painting. Following her graduation from high school, she attended the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design from which she graduated in 1971. Anna is known for her work in watercolour and etching. Her subject-matter includes both landscapes of Antigonish County and cityscapes of Halifax. Anna has exhibited extensively in Nova Scotia with major shows at St. Mary’s University and St. Francis Xavier University.
