Eyres Simmons

Artist Bio: Eyres Simmons (Active 1902-1914)

Simmons was a well-known British watercolour painter who lived in Cornwall and who specialized in painting the coastal communities in Southern England and the Channel Islands. His work has a bright feel which enables him to depict the sunny villages along the English Channel coastline. Simmons exhibited his paintings widely, including the Dudley Gallery and the Walker Gallery in Liverpool.
