Artist Bio: Glenn Priestley

Glenn Priestley’s paintings and drawing focus on cityscapes and portraits. Having grown up in Scarborough, Ontario, much of Priestley’s work is concerned with the depiction of the suburban landscape and the human experience of suburban life.

Glenn Priestley was born in Toronto in 1955 and presently lives and works in Fredericton, New Brunswick. A graduate of the Ontario College of Art, he also spent a year studying anatomy at the University of Toronto.

Priestley has participated in exhibitions at the Mira Goddard Gallery, Toronto; The Market Gallery, City of Toronto Archives, Toronto; Gerold Wunderlich & Co., New York. Priestley’s works are included in many public and corporate collections throughout Canada and the United States.
