Robert Lavender (1925-1996)
 
Robert Lavender was born in Lapland, Lunenburg County. For most of his life, he worked for the Mersey Paper Company in Liverpool, on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. Lavender was an active carver in wood, specializing in birds and animals.
